Let
Museums+more support your efforts to raise funds for
capital campaigns and special projects.
Working closely with campaign volunteers, Ucko led the
campaign for Science City at Union Station, raising
over $100 million in private contributions. He also
played a lead role in the public campaign to create
the nation's first bi-state cultural district, which
raised $118 million through a dedicated 1/8-cent sales
tax. The success of efforts such as these hinge on strategically
developed visions and plans.
Ucko has been awarded funding by the National Science
Foundation (NSF), National Endowment for the Humanities,
other public agencies, and private foundations. He has
served on proposal review panels, including NSF's Informal
Science Education division, and as a reviewer for Institute
of Museum and Library Services, NSF and others.
