While at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry, Ucko developed the groundbreaking "My Daughter, the Scientist" exhibition, to encourage young women to consider scientific careers by making diverse women scientists and engineers come alive. He extended this theme through "Black Achievers in Science," another major interactive traveling exhibition.
